What we do

Mississippi Sound Conservancy is developing and implementing ongoing science-based programs to restore and sustain critical aquatic habitats in the Mississippi Sound to benefit the fisheries. These programs will improve coastal and beachfront water quality.
Mississippi Sound Conservancy

Oysters and their associated reefs and submerged aquatic grass beds in the Sound provide critical habitat for this endangered species as well as habitat for crabs, speckled trout, redfish, and all other species found in the Mississippi Sound.
